Steel Urethral Dilator with Lock

We visited Steve Sax's leather workshop and store in Byron Bay yesterday and came away with an interesting item to try. Steve had received it as a sample and wanted to know whether the design was functional and the item worth adding to his already enormous stock.

It's a stainless steel urethral dilator with a locking mechanism. Yum. I'm sure you can see why we were interested to give it a go. It's constructed of two pieces:

We'd only been home minutes before we wanted to try this out lol.  We washed the device thoroughly and got out the lube, then sol slipped the ringed piece of the device over his cock and balls:

And well as down and on sol's urethra.  While I'm comfortable inserting sounds into sol this was a new item and sol was upright, so I directed him to push the rod down his urethra himself. Sol enjoys sounding very much so he was looking forward to trying this:

I then locked the device with one of Sax's locks, that we use on sol's chastity devices:

To see how it worked with erections I had sol go down on me for a while, as this always gets him hard. He WAS able to get erect.

It was 4.45pm. I said "let's leave it in until 6pm and I'll check on you every half an hour. Let me know too if you need a pee and we can test that, too". He went out to finish a kinky woodwork project and I checked on him out there at 5.30pm:

FINAL THOUGHTS:

We had a lot of fun with this device, and plan to have lots more. Thank you again to Steve Sax for suggesting we try this sample. We'll certainly recommend stocking it.

• We see it as a short term play device rather than a long term one (like a classic chastity device) that can be used in general play. For example, I was thinking of having him wear it next time he's wearing a butt plug. The double sensation was be pretty intense.
  

• The only problem was that the rings were a bit big for sol and slipped down a bit when he was not erect or just walking around. We've seen examples of this for sale where there are two ring sizes (44.4mm ( 1 3/4" ) and 50.8mm ( 2" )) so we'll suggest to Steve that he stock both.
  

• The urethral plug was small enough for sol to pee out of it, which means it was a perfect fit. The maximum diameter of the urethra plug 8mm(0.315"), effective length of about 9cm(3.54").
  

• Because of the ring size and the length of the device sol was able to get a (slightly bent) erection but as we don't plan to use the device as a chastity device, that's not a problem. 
  

• As with sounding, lube (and re-lubing) is VERY important. Remember, lube shooters are useful for things other than anal play *grin*
  

What sol especially liked:

• the feeling of the urethral dilation. As always in terms of describing sounding sensations he found the actual sensation impossible to articulate.

• sol now wants to try a Princes wand: "it make you think a prince's wand would be worth playing with because as you shrink it goes further into you, not the other way around like this"

 What I especially liked:

• It changes the dynamic of sounding. It's like sounding "on the go", so to speak. Usually with sounding sol is flat on a massage bed with me inserting the sounds as he lies still. You absolutely must not move with sounds. With this device I can insert the device and lock him in, then send him out to do household chores. Very carefully of course.
  

•  The look and sound of the device. You'll find similar devices at various fetish stores. Google "urethral dilator with lock" or even just "penis plugs", there are so many amazing designs. In selecting one you need to think through what you want to do with such a device. Do you want one so tight you can't pee or come through it?  Or one that's hollow?  What about erections?  If you are looking for an open chastity device with a major urethral component have a look at Male Chastity Now's Cock Trap:
