For those readers interested in our Mature Metal Jailbird chastity device explorations, sol is now back in the device for a second go.
I let him out of the device for a week while he recovered from urethral region pinching. This problem was documented in our Jailbird - one week review post, but I'd like to stress it's not a fault in the device. It's just that sol needs to get used to the tighter fit of the Jailbird, and try and avoid the pinching which occurs when he starts to get hard and his silver PA ring and the Jailbird's metal bars interact.
Thanks to everyone who dropped us a line about this problem. We agree, we may end up having to change sol's PA jewelry and that's fine. If you find a great chastity device it's worth making any adaptations needed to make it fit perfectly.
Here he in, nicely positioned, before he put his clothes on for work this morning:

We'll be posting a two week review soon. I have to say, we are really liking the Jailbird so far :)
Other Jailbird posts:
- Jail Bird ordered (why we chose it)
- Jailbird arrives (manufacturer feedback, how the device looks etc)
- Jailbird - two day review (first experiences)
- Jailbird - one week review (lots of things we like about the device / first problem etc)

Mistress 160,
Many thanks for posting on his and Owner and i are looking to get a replacement chastity device and this one could be a serious contender. be grateful for your oevrall assessment.
My only real 'concern' is that som of the places i visit for work have airport-style screening devices you have to get through. The existing CB-3K never triggers these but would assume the Jailbird would.
Anyway, and that aside would welcome your views on whether a good investment based on yours and sol's experiences.
Hope all good with you?

P,
Welcome home :)
We still recommend the Jailbird.
The negatives: This device would be impossible for airport screening. We've also had to remove the device again because of the same problem with sol's PA jewelry.
The positives: the Jailbird is well made (no sharp or rough edges on the metal), fits perfectly (being a custom fit), is a major improvement on the CBs in terms of cleaning, and would be comfortable to wear for longer time periods if it wasn't for sol's PA jewelry.
Conclusion: we recognize our main problem with the device relates to sol's PA ring and we have ordered other jewelry that should not cause any pinching. We'll report back on that but I really don't expect any more problems once we replace his metal ring with something softer or flatter.
We too had concerns about airport security but because we like the device so much we are willing to compromise - sol will change into a more travel friendly non metal device.
