During one conversation she'd promised to still attend (lovely photo of Avika here) but was concerned as to how much she could take part. My reply was not to worry, that this particular tea party was going to be less about protocols and more about recovering Female Dominants lying around on couches being served, entertained and pampered. And that's what happened...
Our Orientalist theme got off to a great start with our guests wearing lovely Arabian Nights themed garments. Inspired by the golden Bakst drawing above, here's my outfit:

And yes it was rather see through lol ... so I wore a black leotard underneath ... with bare feet. It was lovely to be so comfortable and relaxed at a kinky event. As our servers enjoy crossdressing we adorned them in variations of the classic French Maid attire. This was also the first public event where sol's new chastity device, the Birdlock, was seen:
We began the afternoon informally sitting outside enjoying white wine, cheese and biscuits and the lovely peaceful environment of the venue. At about 2pm we moved inside for tea and sweet foods. The Orientalist theme continued with some lovely teas, two of which were a gift from desertstorm:
These were served in Morrocan tea glasses. I took this photo of all the glasses drying the next day, they looked so pretty:
Sweet food treats included fresh baklava, turkish delight made with rose petals (more delicate than rose water) and Persian sugared figs:
Sol and I had also brought home some wonderful chocolates from Melbourne:
Guests literally reclined on white furs while being offered all these lovely things, while other servers suffered a little objectification as tables:
Avika very kindly still gave her talk about tantra and BDSM. One of the things I adore about Avika is that she is very clear about her many different roles:

After our breathing exercises it was time for more tea and some play.... when I mentioned the two new canes we'd purchased at Fetish Expo, Avika tried them out on her "table":
Would impact play on the table's behind cause the chocolates on the plate on his back, to fall? By the end of this scene, the chocolates had certainly moved position ... but they never fell off! Here's a photo of some of the implements Avika used, taken after they were washed the next day:

It was then time for some serious Mistress pampering, with foot massages and pedicures:
After my massage I upended sol, enjoying the sight of his new chastity device ... the way the metal shaft pulled his balls towards the ground. I began using our new canes on his ass and balls, and then moved on to other CBT toys.
It was well after dark when the party ended. To celebrate the day as well as it being the Xmas Present's birthday, we all piled into our cars and headed to the nearest Thai restaurant. Lots of really fresh Thai food was a perfect finish to the day, but it was sad to say goodbye as everyone headed home in different directions.
I definitely think I'll host another Orientalist tea party. There was a lot of interest in the theme, and the topics we planned to cover. While illness reduced the number of attendees the fact Avika de Vine was still able to attend and still delighted to talk about tantra and BDSM means I'll remember this more as the "tantra tea party". And that makes this tea party very special indeed :)
