Butterfly Boarding with Avika

On Sunday our friend Avika invited us to her home for an informal butterfly boarding skillshare. You can read about sol's and my first attempt at butterfly boarding here. I do suggest a read of that post if you are not familiar with the technique, as it provides quite a lot of background. For a good "how to" post about basic needle play, try this one.

Both Avika and I were keen for some butterfly boarding practice, and sol was keen to lend his bits. So after a pleasant hour chatting and munching on cheese and biscuits (and making sure sol had drunk lots of water as he often is found to be dehydrated when we do needle play scenes) we stripped sol down to his "pretties" and had him lie face up on Avika's extremely comfortable massage table.

In that first post I went into some detail regarding the kind of "board" we used:
"Hygienically you want something you can throw out afterwards, as there will probably be serious amounts of bodily fluids. Midori says she's seen "dense foam core to nylon cutting board material sawed to shape used for this [and also] the gauge of the needles would make a difference in terms of the material for the board", which is worth remembering.

"Sol cut a panel from the (unused clean) blue foam mat from our camping kit, and then cut a round hole into that piece"
This time we'd zipped into Bunnings on the way to Avika's and purchased some cork floor tiles. Why cork tiles, you ask. Well, tiny corks are commonly used to cap needles during needle play scenes, to avoid needle stick. MzAntonina and I had done a "test run" scene of needle caps a while back. I wrote then:
"We'd both been wanting to try out the various styles of needle cap and this provided an excellent opportunity. First we capped our needles with cork, then silicone (yellow) and rubber (black):

"We found cork the easiest to use, although of course they are single use so more expensive in the long run"
I'm aware there has been some discussion about microscopic bits of cork (and also Styrofoam, which some people cut up and use as tiny caps) being dragged through the skin when the needle is removed, causing inflammation. This is why some people prefer rubber or silicone. However I'd not heard any more about this and I remembered how MzAntonina and I had found "cork the easiest to use", by which we meant we found the needle tip went into it easiest.

Which meant a cork tile used for butterfly boarding should also work well, and hold the needles nicely. I thought I'd use today's scene as a cork tile "test run" and keep an eye on sol's cock and balls afterwards.

At about $10AUD for a pack of five tiles they are also cost effective and can be thrown away after a scene. They come in sealed plastic so are clean. The surface is smooth and of course being cork they are easy to cut and shape. Here is sol wiggling his cock and balls through the hole he cut with a kitchen knife:

And here's the end result:

We still had concerns about needle stick and the rigidity of the board. I think next time two or three cork tiles together would solve those problems, but this time we placed the wooden Ball Presenter underneath the cork mat and placed some hemp rope on one side underneath.

Avika took a position on sol's right and I stood on the other side of the massage table. We snapped on some of Avika's black gloves and both wore head torches for greater illumination. I took photos during the scene, so all the hands you see in the photos below are Avika's :). I think the black gloves are very sexy, in these photos they almost look like leather.

I wiped down the cork board and sol's genitals with Medi-Swabs. We'd negotiated a scene where we'd start inserting needles at the base of sol's balls and work upwards. Last time:
"I chose 23 gauge needles in part because I wanted something shorter and 23g are kind of "middle range" re thickness (see this post for our explorations with gauges)"
This time we went for 21 gauge, which were slightly thicker and a pretty green. As I had liked the uniform look of only using one type / color of needle last time we did that again this time. It's also easier when your start if your needles are all the same length, you get a better idea of how deep they are going. But I think now we've had more practice, next time we might try lots of different length and gauges and see how that goes.

I inserted the first needle in an upright position at the very base of sol's scrotum, our two head torches providing enough illumination to highlight sol's tiny veins. We then began working our way around. Here's Avika putting in her third needle:

Within a couple of needles sol was groaning and gone ... we didn't even need to restrain him. We encountered a little blood but not much:

We agreed that sol's balls were definitely encouraging a heart shaped design rather than a circle:

Look at Avika's evil grin!:

I think we felt the same as I did during the first butterfly boarding:
"What was I feeling during all of this? Extremely focused. Turned on, absolutely, but focused and careful and in control and powerful and focused ... and amazed at how (as alexpierce once told me) putting needles through the male shaft and foreskin is truly like putting needles through butter..."

The nice thing about having another dominant there was that we could discuss ideas and things we'd learned. For example, I shared what I'd discovered the first time I'd tried this technique:
"I soon realized I was going to encounter a major problem. The skin of his balls constantly moved, expanding and contracting. The needles were literally being pulled out of the foam base.

"I altered my game plan - rather than thinking of each needle as something static that once placed didn't move, I now went back and slightly moved the tip of each needle in the foam, every time sol's balls changed size ... Interestingly when I looked at the foam pad after the scene those first needles had been moved up to fifteen times. But the new game plan worked..."
So we did the same thing this time - moving the tip of the needle in the cork board when the angle got too severe...

Here are the balls completely "pegged":

Another angle ... don't you love the way the skin has lifted?:

About now we were joined by our friend Chillax, who enjoyed watching the rest of the scene. I seem to remember there being a lot of laughter during the scene, with sol happily groaning in the background!

We began working our way up the shaft:

Sol's penis almost completely vanished at times so we staked him out via his PA ring with a needle:

That definitely worked to keep him in position:

We checked underneath ... some needle points were coming through. They were only hitting the wooden Ball Presenter, but it means we need to reinforce the cork tile next time:

Another close up of a needle:

Here Avika puts in her final needles:

And as a final touch I removed the needle holding his cock in place, poked his cock head down and with a clean needle speared the center of his foreskin:

Final photo, with 41 needles I think:

Here's a detail:

We three ladies chatted for a while, while Avika and I tweeked a few needles to make sol moan a bit more. This one shows Avika's lovely work:

All too soon it was time to remove them. I don't have any photos of their removal because we were very wary about a bleed and so I took out the needles quite quickly (straight into our sharps container) while Avika held absorbent cloths ready to catch any bodily fluids.

However I've learned now that if you have time you can really spin out the removal process. Sol responded very strongly to each tweek and spin (needles can become slightly sticky if they have been in a long time - spinning slightly in both directions helps unstick them) as well as each needle coming out. You could extend this for ages. I also made him thank me for each removal.

To try and avoid any cork going into the wounds I held a Medi-Swab where the needle entered the cork tile, wiping the needle tip as it came out of the cork tile before passing through sol. When the needle was out completely I held the Medi-Swab against the wound. The astringent effect of this increased sol's enjoyment. So again ... something you could really extend if you had time.

When all the needles were all out I swabbed down sol's genitals again, and dried him off. I then removed the cork board by simply ripping it into several pieces while still on sol, and dropped the pieces (stained with pre come and a bit of blood) straight into the scene rubbish bag.

Once sol was back with us it was time for some long conversations, some excellent red wine and a rather good pizza. We staggered home at 11pm and just fell into bed. What a perfect day ... we must definitely do it again soon, Avika :)

AFTERCARE

As I wrote above we used this scene as a cork tile "test run" and kept a close eye on sol's cock and balls after, for any inflammation. We were expecting a bleed when we removed some of the needles because of these kinds of skin swellings:

However there was no bleed (much to Chillax's disappointment!) which made checking sol for inflammation easier, as the bruising was much less. Day one there was no bruising and the wounds were healing well:

Day two bruising is appearing:

And a couple of the wounds were looking a bit angry:

We Betadine-ed the area for a couple of days. To be honest I've seen more inflammation after other scenes where cork wasn't used, so we'll definitely try the cork tiles again for butterfly boarding.

I'll update here if anything else happens but at the moment I think sol's bits will be in good condition for this weekend, when we stay / play with MzAntonina in Sydney :)
