Ms160's birthday munch

My NSW North Coast / Northern Rivers Fet group birthday munch was held last Sunday at an Asian tea house in Byron Bay:

Our yum cha included delectable dishes like Crispy Sichuan spiced soft shell crab, Steamed White cooked chicken with ginger and shallot relish, Pork and shallot pot stickers, Crispy shrimp pancake with sweet chilli sauce and fresh herbs and Steamed fresh rice noodles with Sichuan spiced pork mince sauce.

And then there were the desserts .... sigh .... here ladytramp and I (with slaveinchains watching / giving moral support on ladytramp's right) are enjoying honeycomb panne cotta with rosewater jelly and fresh rasberries and strawberries:

We scoffed the lot, and the memory was so good we both took photos of the empty plate:

We both agreed we had to return to share another dessert. This one: Warm black rice & coconut egg custard pudding with coconut ice-cream and toasted sesame seeds!

After several hours eating and drinking Jasmine tea and talking all things kinky, it was time for a walk (waddle?) along the beach.  We had four dogs at the munch and they all enjoyed the walk, as well as the humans:

And then it was time for another cafe stop, for the coffee lovers amongst us to get their fix.

The day concluded with a quick glimpse of slaveinchains' newly pierced nipples (I hope her owner won't mind me mentioning them but this post was sounding very vanilla LOL). sol and I didn't head home until after 5pm - the chocolate I'd been gifted provided a brilliant sugar fix during the drive home.

As another new friend who attended commented, it really was a perfect afternoon ... and a great way to celebrate a birthday. Thanks so much to everyone who came :)

Happy Birthday! :-)

I have always wanted to visit Australia. I am an avid scuba diver. The Great Barrier Reef beckons! ;-)

Best
