Outdoor Play Weekend, Goulburn

Last weekend we attended an Outdoor Play weekend, organized by Silvertail and jewels at MzBlackRose's new rural venue near Goulburn, NSW.

This was the first weekend of it's kind at this particular venue, but I'm sure it will be the first of many. Silvertail and jewels had written on the Fetlife event page:

"It is our intention to provide a venue and opportunity for each individual to be able to immerse themselves in their outdoor kink/fetish in an open, accepting and totally secluded environment...

"This location is 15 minutes drive from Goulburn and is centrally located between Canberra, Sydney and Wollongong. The property comprises of approximately 300 acres of open space to cater for any outdoor kink fetish you may have been harboring"

They weren't kidding about that "any outdoor kink fetish you may have been harboring" bit. Lots of different activities were on offer:

*Pony Play
*Pet Play
*Sub Hunt / Pursuit Games
*Peg out your sub under the stars
*Torture & Torment in the great outdoors
*Immerse yourself in character/mindset/persona for 36 hours
*BDSM 4WD - Find a tree for outdoor bondage
*Bonfire on Saturday Evening
*Last chance to enjoy outdoor play before the cold weather.
*Swimming in the Dam
*Nudity and Fetish wear totally accepted in this kink friendly totally PRIVATE environment

Pony play was linked to:

"Ponygirl_Shyanne [who] has kindly offered and donated her time to be available to anybody wishing to know more about pony play and training. She has ... offered to supply equipment for those who wish to try this fetish. There will be a pony cart for those adventurous ones who wish to take a leisurely buggy ride around the acreage"

And the sub hunting bit was me:

"Mistress160 is coming in from the Northern Regions of our state for this weekend and will be available to discuss with any interested parties over the two days about a pursuit and capture mini event and take downs"

*grin*

Unfortunately Ponygirl_Shyanne was unable to attend and the pony play element of the weekend - which was the original motivation for the event - fell through. However MzBlackRose is planning to hold monthly pony play meets on the site, which I think will be a great idea. I'll add a link in here, when more details are announced.

Sol and I put the Xmas Present into storage and drove 14 hours to Canberra on Thursday, did Canberra things on Friday ... then headed off to the Outdoor Play Weekend on Saturday morning. We'd been given very clear instructions on how to find the property, and a familiar symbol greeted us on the gate:


We then followed the red tags through the paddocks:


Until we reached the camp site:


If you looked the other way, you'd see the campsite was located near a dam:


Silvertail and jewels had very kindly lent us a tent:


Even more kindly, the tent was already up when we arrived ... we'd received a wonderful “NOTICE OF ERECTION” message via Fetlife to advise of this fact a few days earlier! So all we had to assemble on the day was our airbed:


We didn't have sleeping bags but we did have lots of warm bedding and sheepskins to keep us warm:


Which we needed, believe me.

We socialized during the afternoon. There were lots of new people to meet, including some who were new to the scene, so lots to talk about. That evening there was a huge bonfire. Sol and I crashed early, as we were still recovering from the long drive, but sounds of merriment and the odd cane swish continued well into the night...

Next day was fairly brisk at dawn and we all gathering around the fire again for breakfast. The weather was perfect - cool, clear and sunny, and mostly without wind. That proved a fiendish mix for quite a few of us, who all showed the effects of the sun the next day!

It was important to Silvertail and jewels that the Outdoor Play Weekend provide an environment where everyone felt comfortable expressing their own form of kink, and I think they were successful in this. One of the things I really enjoyed over the weekend was watching how some couples disappeared for a bit of play, while others played closer to camp:


I actually took the photo above to show NotExcessive and Sir_O2DV8 assembling crops for the wonderful "crop circle" photo NotExcessive later posted on Fetlife. However you'll note I've also captured the interesting games being played in the background...

We'd forgotten our crop (that's a first) but I dug out two other favorite corporal punishment implements - the Central Asian horsewhip and the rawhide cane. Here's Sir_O2DV8 and Master_Peterau "testing" them on Sir_O2DV8's slave vixencunt:


I also lent the implements to LadyCBTwhip-bmp, who later said she found them useful as part of this scene *evil grin*.

We had a serious horse moment when the property owner's race horses galloped by (see top left of the photo below ... sorry it's out of focus, I only had one chance to capture them on film):


And sol and I got to explore a little "animal play" when I invited sol to express his inner ... er ... cow? NotExcessive took these terrific photos of me "plowing" with sol:

And of Silvertail (who had just returned from a scene staking jewels out ... we could glimpse her on the ground, in the distance - where she had requested to remain for a while - covered with brightly colored parachute silk that swayed and danced in the breeze) and myself, with sol:

Sol posted later: "Still picking bits of rope fibre from between my teeth"!!! (snugglepot posted on the same thread "You looked absolutely stunning, Mistress160". Nice new friend snugglepot :) )

Lunch (a scrumptious meal of saffron pasta and duck ragu from the Canberra Farmer's Market, prepared by sol ... kinky camping is so tough these days... ) was followed by a few more hours talk and play. Then sadly it was time to pack up:

NotExcessive and bella_donna had generously offered us a bed Sunday night, before the long drive home on Monday. So a few hours later we were well washed (their shower is heavenly), well fed, tucked up in their extremely comfortable guest room bed ... and uploading photos and reading comments on Fet about the weekend just gone...

As jewels wrote later:

"The[se] few days [were] an experience for ... people with the bravado to step outside of the conformity of society and open minded enough to live for a few days the way their imagination wished life could be"

And other attendees definitely felt this. Masterspussycat wrote about the weekend:

"Cut off from the rest of the world, no problems,no bills, no emails, no phone calls, no judgments and no inhibitions.

There is now a greater bond that grows daily fueled by the intense connection that comes from being away from the world and being able to focus on one another wholely and completely.

An understanding that is strengthened by trust that is given.

A depth of longing that is created by 'what can be and now is'...."

Two other new friends later responded to Masterspussycat:

As for sol and myself, we caught up with old friends, met many new ones ... and look forward very much to returning.

But the weekend also reminded us why we began our eco kinkster lifestyle three years ago, and made our very private home - where we can always "be who we are, as we are, and why we are with no inhibitions" (LadyCBTwhip-bmp) and "live ... the way their imagination wished life could be" (jewels) - a very precious place to return to on Monday night :)
