InHerTube's "ChainCock"

The other day I posted about how much we are enjoying the Shoe / Boot Harness we purchased from one of our favorite green toy companies, InHerTube.

I promised in that post to share our other purchase from InHerTube with you soon ... here it is!

"Looking for a toy with some serious oomph behind it?", says the InHerTube website, and they are not wrong there:
"Made of mild steel chain, welded and filed smooth, the ChainCock has you covered! The shaft is either 6 1/2 or 7 1/2 inches long and 1 1/8 inch at the widest points. The handle is curved for easy control and can also be used for effective g-spot or p-spot stimulation. For those who enjoy temperature play, the ChainCock can be heated up in a sink of warm water or cooled down in the freezer. Clean up with soap, water and then dry thoroughly. You can also use your favorite disinfectant if desired. We recommend always using a condom with this toy"
The moment sol and I saw the ChainCock we desperately, DESPERATELY, wanted it! The biggest sized one, of course.

It arrived with another great Customs' label ("metal sculpture") (well, it is). We liked it so much we even took it to a munch last weekend. I must admit, though, our friends didn't react as enthusiastically as we expected ... the subs all got very wide eyes and went quiet, and all the dominants gave me THAT LOOK. You know, the one your kinky friends give you when you are letting your perversions run a little too wild *grin*. Well, we don't care. We think our ChainCock is pretty sensational.

When we play with the ChainCock we use a condom as advised - here's sol rolling a condom on it with his mouth (thank you Midori for teaching him that skill :) ):

Apart from making clean up easier, the condom also smooths any rough corners:

However, so you can admire our new toy properly (without the condom) we took some photos prior to play:

I was amused to find, when I uploaded one of these photos on my Fetlife profile, that there was a Fetlife fetish category for "inhertube.com's chaincock". I of course added myself to the list of "Kinksters either into or curious about this fetish"!

The ChainCock will reappear soon, I am sure....

InHerTube's "Shoe / Boot Harness"

Sol and I recently purchased some new toys from one of our favorite green / eco friendly kinky toy companies, InHerTube.

InHerTube is the creation of Katrina Humbert, who came up with the brilliant idea of recycling inner tube to make dildo harnesses and other fetish gear. I first came across her website when I was writing my BDSM For Beginners post on strap on sex, and loved her philosophy and products:
"I have always liked the smell and feel of innertube. As a child I went to my dad's shop and played in the tire room which was off-limits. I always ended up filthy and eventually I would be caught and spanked because it was dangerous.

"The smell and feel of the tires as I played (and became smudged with black rubber and grease) always outweighed any punishment my parents could dish out. Now I'm grown up and I can play with tires all I want, but the pleasure of being naughty has diminished. This is why I decided to design dildo harnesses and fetish apparel as a way of satisfying my inner naughty girl. I hope to share this experience with you. Try it - and let someone catch you!

"The harnesses are made of truck, car, and heavy equipment innertube. The innertubes are cleaned, cut, glued, punched and riveted together. They are flexible and feel great against your (and your partner's) skin. The fasteners are velcro for easy on and off, and the harnesses can be cleaned in soap and water. All of our harnesses are custom made for any body type, big or small.

" InHerTube harnesses are my creation, with my lovers helping with quality control and insight on what big girls are looking for in a harness. We have dyke-tested, girlfriend approved the "InHerTube" harness. We believe that women of ALL sizes should be able to strap it on with confidence and comfort, and that's what InHerTube Harnesses are about!"
At the time kinky toys were not an option on our budget, but I kept her site and products in mind. I also mentioned InHerTube in my "want to buy eco friendly / green kinky toys?" post (where we got some great feedback about InHerTube's products in the comments) and hope that over the years the two posts have sent some business her way. Finally this month we made some purchases!

InHerTube make several different styles of harness, and we definitely plan to try them all out when we have the funds, but for now I'm going to write about their Shoe / Boot Harness. The website product blurb reads:
"Like shoes? We do! Our Petite Powered Shoe Harness is perfect for narrow shoes or those with thin soles. The Boot Buddy Harness works best with boots or shoes with thick or platform soles. If you're unsure about a specific pair of shoes, send us a description or photo and we'll give you a recommendation"
I hope Ms Humbert won't mind my reproducing these two photos of the product from her site:

I took one look at these photos and thought "yes! yes! yes! Infinitely possibilities....". So I was delighted to see the Shoe / Boot Harness arrive, with a Customs label brilliantly reading "rubber brace".

I think the type of dildo you see in the photos above is just right for the product. We've ordered a similar one, but as we wanted to try the product out immediately, we decided we'd have a go with one of our larger dildos. We discovered our Don Johnson Vac U Lock system (which we find the best for strap on sex) fit the Shoe / Boot Harness perfectly:

The shorter dildo that we have on order will be easier to control but I still didn't mind the look of the pink Vac U Lock dildo when installed in the Shoe / Boot Harness:

Here is sol about to get a taste of it:

I then had sol change the Shoe / Boot Harness so that the dildo sat on top of my foot:

This also worked very nicely, with sol facing away from me:

And facing towards me:

Although InHerTube sell a very interesting looking Hand Harness, you can also use the Shoe / Boot Harness effectively over your hand, as sol shows here:

I'm sure you'll see this product turn up again and again in future posts. It's going to be a very useful addition to our toy box ... and small enough to travel with, as well. AND it's 100% recycled, so makes our eco kinkster hearts feel good :)

The other InHerTube toy we purchased is completely different - not rubber at all - and is also a hell of a lot of fun. It even has it's own Fetlife fetish category lol. Back soon, with photos ...

Cock needle play - exploring different gauges

After our last experiment with cock needle play, sol ordered more needles online. When they all arrived, I decided we needed another session to explore all the different gauged needles ... did the different sizes really make a difference, in terms of sensation play?

Time to get out the needle play kit again...

I set out my piercing gear on a tray:

Then made sol comfortable, restrained on the massage table in front of the fire:

I then opened the packets of the needles I planned to use:

We now have several different gauge needles from 25G to 18G. These are all 1 and 1/2 inch or 1 and 1/4 inches in length, which is a good length for play piercing, especially when you are still learning.

Keeping in mind the smaller the gauge, the larger the needle diameter ... and the larger the diameter of the needle, the higher the intensity of sensation play, I wanted to start with the 25 gauge needle and work down ... or up ... whatever...

The first needle was the the 25 gauge:

Sol hardly felt this but did begin to feel the usual endorphin rush soon after.

Next, a 23 gauge:

After a short break, the 21 gauge:

You can certainly see the different gauges in the photo.

Sol felt the third one ... but it was his reaction to the next one I was waiting for: the 18 gauge:

You can see in the photo how much wider it is.

I played with sol's PA piercing and balls for a while... then I removed the first three needles and placed another 18 gauge:

By now I certainly had sol's attention. He was flying ... it always amazes me how strongly he reacts to these temporary piercings!

Our exploration of different gauged needles had definitely been a success. I removed the two needles and as a reward allowed sol to come:

Next: nipples!

QUESTIONS FROM FORMSPRING: How do you cope with living with a masochist?

"How do you cope with living with a masochist?"

Hmmm. I could answer this Formspring question two ways - from the point of view that it's being asked by someone outside the BDSM lifestyle ... or from the point of view that's is being asked by someone within the lifestyle. Not knowing which the questioner is, I'll have to try to cover both!

Masochists are a strange, rare breed. It's an honor to share my life with this particular one.

It's not a case of "coping". Life can be challenging because you can never take a masochist for granted ... they'll be off searching for new sensations *grin*.

Sol wrote about the paradoxes of being a masochist on my blog here and, part 2, here. Here's a quote from those posts:

"I know that many people are interested in how masochists perceive pain, so I asked Solipsist to comment on this. He wrote:

"Some people describe masochists as experiencing certain types of pain as pleasure - as though the nerves are somehow wired to different centers in their brain. It's not so for me. The pain is just pain. I feel the stroke of a cane much as I would imagine anyone else does, I just happen to like that pain in that context administered by someone who cares. Psychologically I like the fact that I am submitting willingly to being hurt, and it's hard to do if I don't feel I am submitting. There are times when I would like to have a session, but can't bring myself to ask, because if I have asked for it, it's somehow not as satisfying.

"Pain on the 'sweet spot' of my ass is 'good pain', and when a flogger or cane strays outside that area, for example if it 'wraps' around to the side it quickly becomes intolerable. But a well chosen word from Mistress ('Did I wrap ? Oh dear. Don't you dare move, let me see if I can do it again', or laughingly "that got your attention!') can snap me back into a space where even the 'bad' pain can be enjoyed.

"Another often touted explanation is that masochists are endorphin junkies - I certainly get enjoy the endorphin high that some sessions produce, but I also enjoy sessions that don't get that far.

"I have occasionally likened the start of a session with beginning a rock climb. If you have ever led a free climb, you will be familiar with a surge of fear and excitement that comes when you start a climb, particularly one that is poorly protected. You think 'I can't do this', 'Why do I put myself through it', but you push yourself, concentrate on the technique, and when you reach the top you look back at how exhilarating it was".

"Sol and I know that masochism is a difficult subject, that for many in the vanilla world the line between it and abuse seems a thin one. So it's worth our repeating that BDSM activities only ever take place between consenting adults, and recalling for you once again the wise conclusions of Havelock Ellis who in Studies in the Psychology of Sex noted that the sadomasochist generally desires that the pain be inflicted or received not in abuse, but in love. And there is extraordinary love between Solipsist and myself. How could I deny such an important part of him? After each session with him I remember the words of Raven Kaldera who asked of those who reject SM:

“Look into our eyes. When we return with those bruises, do we walk taller and stronger? When we touch our cuts, are we more serene? When we give up our power, do we grow more sure of ourselves? When we accept power over another, do we learn more compassion? Do we return from the Underworld better for the journey? That's how you know, those of you who are worried, whether we're doing it right”.
If you'd like to learn more about masochism, you might like to read some of the resources listed below. It's also worth joining groups like Fetlife's "Sadists and Masochists" group, to read discussions such as the "Masochists: how do you react to pain?" thread.
