Ms160's birthday weekend at Satet's

We spent the June long weekend at Satet's home in Brisbane. I'd been invited to present a birching workshop on Sunday afternoon, and the same evening Satet was holding a birthday play party for herself and her partner, alexpierce (on Fetlife). When she discovered my birthday was around the same time, Satet kindly added me to the birthday list :).

I'd asked Satet to keep the birching workshop down to below twenty, so it had been fully booked with a waiting list for a while. She was then expecting about one hundred kinksters for the play party. It was going to be a pretty amazing weekend.

We put the Xmas Present into storage (she was very cross because she had attended the last workshop at Satet's and had a good time) and drove north to Brisbane on Saturday afternoon. We stopped at IKEA and Spotlight on the way, to load up with materials for the workshop. The car also contained half a dozen fresh birches made of different materials, which we'd collected during our recent 2000km drive:

We arrived at Satet's in the early evening. It was great to see Satet and her household again, and catch up on all the news. Dinner was absolutely blissful - a sneak preview of the beef bourguignon being prepared for the party (you'll find a menu for the party here).

We also enjoyed a sneak preview of Satet's new dungeon ... you can see some photos on Satet's Fetlife profile page here and here. Over the weekend Satet also kindly allowed sol to borrow the stainless steel chastity device "The Fort" from her dungeon:


He found this unusually comfortable for a new chastity device. The weight of metal chastity devices certainly interests me as a key holder. I found it very erotic, and hope one day we might be able to purchase a Fort from Satet's online store.

On Sunday morning we helped with last minute preparations, including hanging some strap on devices up in Satet's new dungeon. sol rather liked the look of the black dildos, so I now know what to buy him for Christmas:


We then set up outside for the birching workshop. You can see all the fresh birches (made of birch, willow, palm fronds and eucalyptus) and a couple of other items hanging behind the table:


On the table was the dried willow from IKEA (out of which everyone was going to make a birching implement) and all my birch making tools (including pruning shears and string, masking tape and ribbons for tying up the "birch"):


And of course, being me, lots of detailed workshop notes lol:


We had an enjoyable time during the workshop. I know the next couple of photos are out of focus but I wanted to include them so you could see the great birching implements everyone made:

Having admired the beautiful brass windings on Gypzee's DragonWhips I loved seeing them on his workshop birch rods.

I received some good feedback on the workshop ("wonderful" - Gypzee, "interesting and informative" - dunalot, "lots of fun, and info. A walk amongst the trees will never be quite the same again" - ladytramp *grin*). As part of my reason for presenting birching workshops is to raise the profile of birching a bit, it was especially good to see people using their new implements at the play party that night. I hope enchantress1000 will forgive my quoting a private message here but she really summed up what I was hoping to achieve:

"we loved the workshop and last night I tried out the birch that grasshopper had made and he thought it was amazing, he said it was such a different experience and sent him straight into sub space, it is interesting the difference such a different toy can make! Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us you are truly appreciated!"

Then it was party time...

Everyone had a great night. You can read lots of comments on this Fetlife thread. It was terrific to catch up with many old friends, as well as new ones. I was too busy scoffing myself to take photos of the main meal at the party, but here's a photo of the dessert table:


And best of all, lots of play took place in Satet's new dungeon, not only during the party but the next day....

Sol and I have been wanting to further explore needle play on sol's cock and I've had a particular quilling scene in mind. But I really needed some one on one time with someone who knows what they are doing, medical play wise. Play parties are not the time for this type of educational scene but when I raised the possibility of a short piercing / quilling scene with alexpierce, he very generously shared his expertise with us in Satet's magical dungeon on Monday afternoon, before we drove home.

I'm going to post separately about this scene, but here's a tiny taste. First alexpierce removed sol's PA ring from it's well healed hole and we spent about half an hour inserting quills:


And then alexpierce guided me through placing needles in sol's cock shaft and head:


alexpierce is a terrific teacher. We had a lot of fun and sol was absolutely floating on endorphins.

We headed home at dusk on Monday. alexpierce warned sol he was likely to feel the after effects of the needle play all the way home. He definitely did ... and for several days after!

Three hours later we were home in bed, scoffing a final helping of that wonderful beef bourguignon, sol still glowing ... it really was a wonderful long weekend!
