Home again...

We've driven two and a half thousand kilometers in ten days, stayed and played with some wonderful friends (as well as in a national park - see photo above) and now are finally home...

I have several posts half written about the trip (which included a fabulous Femdom tea party with the prettiest servers) and the review of the BON4 to finish ... but forgive me, I have to put everything on hold to get my BDSM for Beginners birching series posted and everything ready for the birching workshop at Satet's this weekend.

We took an extra couple of days to drive home because we were hunting birch and willow trees, to supplement the dried willow I use in the birching workshop. It's Autumn here. So finding a birch tree that still had leaves (as I want to make a spray birch for the workshop) turned out to be tricky! We've also used Australian native trees for birching, and wanted to document those explorations, for people who can't access birch and the more traditional replacements (willow, hazel, etc).

To whet your appetite:

Here's sol sorting our finds:

And some of the (very roughly made) birches we used outdoors and on the trip:

And here's sol enjoying some fresh birch:

Now, back to writing those birching posts!

Mistress 160,

Sounds like you both had a great time and we look forward with interest to reading more about the trip. Very happy, and belated. birthday wishes to Sol too.
