ClubFEM in the Botanic Gardens...

Sol dropped me at the airport early on Saturday morning. I was heading to Sydney for a couple of kinky appointments. He was going climbing with a friend. He was lucky the friend was kinky because I had no intention of letting him out of chastity to climb *evil grin*.

An hour or two later I was walking around Sydney's Royal Botanic Gardens. Sounds a bit weird for early on a Saturday morning, but I was hunting down a spot for tomorrow's ClubFEM picnic.

The Botanic Gardens are enormous and very beautiful. And have all sorts of spots where kinky activity might take place, like this enclosure for the very rare Wollemi Pine:

But Sunday afternoon is probably the Botanic Garden's busiest family time so sadly play was not going to be on the picnic's agenda. This time. I found several good spots, finally settling on one near Farm Cove, under a huge Moreton Bay Fig tree...

Then it was time to meet up with Dee for coffee and discuss things to do with The Gathering. Can't share much yet, but can say the website will be up soon and I'll talk some more about this project then.

Dee kindly dropped me at Gallery Serpentine, where I picked up my absolutely to die for riding jacket:

We'd had rain forecast on Sunday but the day was completely clear, and very warm. So many people had wanted to attend the ClubFEM - NSW picnic at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney that I had had to request a picnic permit (for over 20) from the Botanic Gardens Trust.

The breeze off Sydney Harbor was very welcome. The Moreton Bay fig tree provided perfect shade for our group and several others. Thank God because I'd forgotten to recommend people bring sunscreen. In Australia the consequences can be dire.

I'd arranged for SilkDreamz and Mistress_Linguinie to arrive a bit earlier than the others, as this was their first event. By half past one we had a substantial area covered with picnic rugs and a wide array of delectable food. If I had to choose a Best Munchies Award, hmmm, it would be a very hard category to judge (rochelle's salad was a firm favorite) but I think it would have to go to SilkDreamz for his home made lemon tarts. Best Present to The Head Mistress Award definitely goes to OmTara for her marvelous box of adriano zumbo goodies...

It was good to catch up with friends from the first ClubFEM - NSW event .... and also great to make the acquaintance of many new friends. Each ClubFEM event brings more members. And they are all really great people. Nice too, to have so many Femdom couples turning up. And nice to have bootlicker, from Brisbane, there.

We all agreed the Botanic Gardens made a great munch / picnic location. Many of us had not been back since we were kids. It was very relaxing to sit on the grass, or recline on the rugs, and discuss all things kinky. Conversations ranged widely in such a big group, but it's always a good sign when people feel comfortable to talk about their interests and various perversions. the_engel later described it as "a wonderful day" while Mistress_Linguinie wrote: "we had the best time meeting new and very friendly beautiful people!! Thank you Mistress160 for arranging the great day your company was a total pleasure!! See you all next month :)"

Definitely. The ClubFEM event in February is going to be a pub munch ... if anyone out there would like to attend, keep an eye on my ClubFEM - NSW group on Fetlife for details. We also have a couple of differently themed Femdom tea parties happening in March.

The expected storm clouds appeared just as we packed up. Walking up to our cars we encountered various forms of wildlife including bats and possums ... I loved the illustration of the sliding possum that the Botanic Gardens puts on the plastic they use to possum proof their trees:

SilkDreamz and Mistress_Linguinie very kindly took me to the airport. Sol picked me up looking very red from climbing. "Tsk tsk" said Ms160, who of course forgot her own sunscreen. As we drove home sol described a wonderful day's climb, which concluded with a swim. "If I'd known you were going to do that I'd have had you wear your new bikini", I said. He looked horrified, "the beach was crowded!". "What's that got to do with anything?". Sol did his erotic humiliation wiggle on the driver's seat while I grinned. "Good weekend, then?". "Absolutely".
