These photos are for the friends who ask how the Xmas Present and our very elderly cat are getting on. The photo below gives a better idea of how they share the bed ... but I especially love the top photo, where just the cat's ears are visible!

The cat in that first photo looks more like a dog. I love cats, but this is a bit distracting.

In case you have not watched this movie, I recommend: do so. My wife and I have seen it many times. Each time we glean more joy from it. It is funny without demands of your psyche. Just joy.
