Now and then I like to share with you some of my unsolicited mail. I receive lots of wonderful messages (thank you, everyone!) but sometimes subs writing to Dommes they wish to serve put their requests in very ... er ... strange ways. Here are two recent favourites I filed in the "body image problem" pile (I'll be kind + leave their names off, lol):
"your blog says you claim you are a DD. if those tits are attached to something nice and trim, you might do for me [as a Mistress] but if you are one of those fat slobs don't bother getting back to me"
and
"u sound ok as a domme so send me your complet mesurements IMMEDIATELY so i can see if u are what i want. And DONT LIE. fat pig dommes that lie about their fat are just the lowest".Low, indeed .... (*evil grin*). If this amused you, do read Part 1, which is even funnier.

my belief is, that since most males start to explore their submissive side with the aid of pornography, certain selfish habits are picked up... it's easy to become side-tracked by the nature of porn itself, and lose sight of the service side of things.
i wonder if this could be termed 'the male ignorance gap'..?

I love getting mail like these examples, makes me value my subs even more for the treasures they are.
I often wonder how new Dommes cope with mail like this (when they first start out) I used to politely mail back..the thank you, but no thanks styled email or tell them a different approach might better their chances. Now I file them under..File 13..that's the little rubbish bin that lives on my desk top.

I am so glad I don't get email from sub-centric online subs. I don't know what the hell these guys are thinking but they should just stick with fantasy land and give up on any realtime service!!

we just have to figure out how to send all these kinds of subs over to their counterparts in the Domme world...the fakers and posers.
if they had read anything You've ever written, they'd know that You are a very classy woman who wouldn't tolerate that kind of talk.

Now that's amusing. I seem to remember having some allegedly genuine extracts from job applications somewhere showing the same naive lack of understanding about the relationship 9employer/employee as opposed to D/s) that they we entering into.
Very good point, Alex, thank you. You are absolutely right. Its exactly the same mentality. I've looked at some of the job applications people write and just been amazed.
And a very good idea, Veritas, the two groups do belong together, don't they, LOL ?!
